Crepes recipes provide a tasty way to consume kratom while mitigating its bitterness. Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet crepes recipe or a savory crepe recipe, options abound. Kratom powder is best added to the crepe filling recipe or topping, rather than the crepes themselves.
Kratom Crepes Recipes You Need to Try
A Note on Crepes
These recipes start at the assembly stage after you’ve made the basic crepes from a trusted recipe. Use about ¼ cup of your favorite batter per crepe. Set the completed crepes aside until you’ve cooked as many as you need for your particular recipe.
1. Fruit Crepes with Honey Cream
Mix the desired amount of kratom powder into the honey you’ll be using. Blend 4 parts cream to 1 part of the honey-kratom blend, and sprinkle in a bit of confectioners sugar. Beat until thickened.
Assemble by spreading the whipped honey cream onto a crepe. Top with chopped fresh fruit. Fold the crepe into fourths, and dollop a bit more of the kratom honey cream on top. Repeat with remaining crepes.
2. Lemony Crepe Cake
Make about 2 dozen crepes, and whip up the kratom honey cream from the recipe above.
Spread a crepe with store-bought lemon curd or your own lemon curd recipe. Put another crepe on top, then spread it with kratom honey cream. Continue alternating lemon curd and honey cream for as many crepes as you have. Serve by cutting the crepe cake into wedges.
3. Apple Crepe Cake
Construct a crepe cake based on the recipe above, but substitute apple pie filling for the lemon curd. Alternate apple pie filling with kratom honey cream, then cut into wedges.
4. Crepey Peach Cones
Whip up the kratom honey cream from the first recipe.
Toss sliced peaches with equal parts lemon juice and granulated sugar. Set aside to thicken and marinate.
Assemble by spooning some of the sliced peaches onto the center of a crepe, and fold the sides in to make a cone shape. Top with kratom honey cream, and continue making peach cones with the remaining filling and crepes.
5. Ricotta-Berry “Cigars”
Blend the desired kratom powder amount with ricotta cheese and lemon juice to taste. Spread a dollop over each crepe. Roll up tightly into a cigar shape, and drizzle two or three “cigars” with maple syrup and fresh berries.
6. Pumpkin Cheesecake with Chocolate
Blend the desired kratom powder amount* with store-bought chocolate sauce. Warm the kratom chocolate sauce in the microwave.
Blend equal parts pumpkin puree and cream cheese with a bit of maple syrup and a spoonful of pumpkin pie spice.
Spread a crepe with the pumpkin cheesecake mixture, fold in the sides, and drizzle with the warm kratom chocolate sauce. Repeat with remaining crepes.
7. Cheesy-Spinach Crepes with Honeyed Oil
Mix the desired amount of kratom powder into the honey you’ll be using. Blend 4 parts olive oil with 3 parts kratom honey, then warm it in the microwave before sprinkling in some chopped fresh herbs.
Over medium heat, cook together frozen spinach, artichokes hearts, a bit of Parmesan, and the seasoning of your choice.
Assemble by placing brie or cheddar on the surface of each crepe, followed by the spinach filling. Fold in fourths, and drizzle with the olive oil-kratom honey mixture.
8. Veggie Ricotta Cake
Make about 2 dozen crepes.
Blend the desired amount of kratom powder with ricotta cheese and lemon juice to taste. Mix in cooked spinach to make a filling.
Set a crepe on an oiled cookie sheet. Spread it with store-bought or homemade marinara sauce, then a thin layer of the spinach-ricotta mixture. Put a crepe on top of that, and spoon marinara and shredded mozzarella evenly over it. Continue alternating layers.
Bake in a 350-degree oven for about 15 minutes, then cut into wedges and serve.
9. Something’s Fishy Crepes
Mix the desired amount of kratom powder into 1 cup sour cream. Blend in a handful each of capers and chives, and lemon juice to taste.
On each crepe, assemble smoked fish, red onions, and tomatoes. Fold up, burrito-style, and drizzle a bit of the kratom sour cream over each crepe.
You probably already know what per-serving amount of kratom powder that works best for you. That amount is based on the kratom strain you have and the desired effect. Multiply this by the amount of crepes you plan to consume. It goes without saying that you should only make these for yourself or another adult who has a medicinal need.
